Tax Revenue trimmed by Corruption
Tax revenue has been trimmed by corrupt behavior that have been made in the business environment and the parties that receive the funds that corrupt. This is emphasized because the result of the flow of funds used to bribe the other hand, the funds used to pay taxes from businesses to be more less.
Director General of Taxes Darmin Nasution revealed that when he spoke in the Campaign Sunset Policy in Jakarta, Friday (25 / 7). Sunset Policy prime campaign was delivered in front of dozens of large employers that Indonesia is the largest active taxpayers in this country.
According to Nasution, the gap between the potential tax revenue to the realization of tax revenues paid by the taxpayer is still very high. This was allegedly because the practice of bribing bribery or corruption, nepotism, and collusion is rampant in business circles. As a result, funds for taxes paid much less than they should.
"I do not want to say that funds should be paid taxes, but not, saved by the business community. In fact, the practice of KKN (collusion, corruption, nepotism dam) is sucking funds that should have paid taxes," Nasution said.
